Ogival is a typeface in progress. It was initiated during an intensive type design course I completed under the tuition of Troy Leinster, hosted by the Australian Graphic Design Association.
A bold, medium width, high contrast, sans serif typeface drawn using translation method.
Ogival is charactarised by pointed counters and sharp angles, inspired by blackletter script.
It takes it’s name from the pointed ogival arches of gothic architecture.
